Tour Overview
To learn more about the local people of your holiday destination it is good to meet them at their familiar environment. During this tour it is possible to see how local residents are living, to visit their seaweed farm, to meet the village chief, to have a look into some private houses and to see how the locals use the coconut tree for instance to make ropes from coconut fibers. You can also learn how they thatch their roofs, how they plant kasava or bake their bread. Another interesting place to see is the village kindergarten, school or the hospital.
This tour is regular done in Nungwi (north) or Jambiani (south east).
